I became an at home dad with my oldest son was born back in 2012 because our family couldn’t afford day care costs and my my career wasn’t going anywhere. My wife would say I have more patience then her to be the at home parent. I am an ordained minister, trained hospital chaplain and seminarian.
I live in Charlotte, NC and I am the Organizer for Charlotte Dads Group, an outpost of City Dads Group. I lead this group not for what I can help with, but what they help me with. The dads in this group help me be a better father and help me to understand that dads are better when we are together. Navigating fatherhood with other fathers is one of the best ways to be better.
Beer is one of the universal languages for people. You get a beer and people start talking and sharing. I enjoy DIY projects, home improvement, topics on parenting, travel, adventures and a whole lot more.
